I have difficulty focusing and avoiding tasks, especially at work, and I think this may be related to my ADHD. I am easily distracted, and even small tasks seem overwhelming. Does anyone have any tips or strategies that really work for staying focused and overcoming procrastination with ADHD?

I've started using a to-do list with timers, so I don't get lost in tasks. It also helps to do one task at a time and put everything else off. And it also helps to be physically active before work - it helps me switch gears and focus better

I used to try to solve these problems, and what really helped me was to make a clear schedule. Dividing tasks into small blocks - this is how you see progress, and it really motivates you. And another important point - you need to be able to give yourself time to rest. To better focus and overcome task avoidance with ADHD, try these tips: Use the Pomodoro Technique (25 minutes of work, 5 minutes of break) to maintain focus. Break tasks into smaller, manageable block breaker steps and set clear deadlines. Use apps to block distractions and create a structured workspace. Reward yourself for completing tasks to boost motivation. If needed, consider working with an ADHD coach for personalized strategies.
