Hello everyone! I recently had a problem with my Whirlpool refrigerator - the ice tray broke. I spent a long time looking for a suitable spare part and eventually came across the W10404050 model, which seems to be ideal. But I don’t know if I should buy any additional accessories just in case. Maybe some of you have already encountered similar situations? Share your experience, what parts might be useful in the future, so as not to run around in a hurry later.

Hi! Yes, I had a similar situation when I was replacing the water filter in my fridge. Whirlpool parts are generally easy to find and install. I would recommend keeping not only the ice tray but also the door seals and filters on hand, especially if you have running water. It can make life a lot easier. If you need a manual to better understand how everything works, here is the link: Whirlpool Parts and Accessories ‎W10404050 download instruction manual pdf. Hope this helps!

It's interesting how you all share your experiences. I don't have a Whirlpool fridge, but I've always found it's better to stock up on spare parts. I've heard that some people even buy several spare parts to be prepared for any unexpected events. I guess I'll take your advice into consideration when it's time to upgrade my appliances.
